Theft – 200 Block of State Street, Proctorville Wednesday, woman reports $350 was taken from her purse. Suspect named.

Criminal trespass– Walmart in South Point Tuesday, loss prevention officer reports a female suspect who had previously been advised by court to stay out of store was in the store. Suspect named.

Criminal damaging- 14500 block of State Route 7, Proctorville Tuesday, woman reports a man punched a mailbox and smashed it with his foot. Mitchell D. Fannin, 25, of 1329 County Road 42, Proctorville, arrested.

Possession of drugs- 200 block of State Street, Proctorville Tuesday, while investigating a theft at Gino’s Pizza, an employee reportedly submitted to a search of her purse. A Xanaz pill was allegedly found.

Cruelty to animals- 7900 County Road 107, Proctorville, man showed deputy a video of a man reportedly punching his dog three times. Christopher Thompson, 37, of 7955 County Road 107, Proctorville, arrested.
