Junior Female Flyers
turn back South Gallia
The St. Joseph Junior Female Flyers knocked off the South Gallia Junior Lady Rebels 39-24 Monday.
St. Joseph (11-1) was led by Sydney Payne and Hannah Miller with 12 points each.
The Female Flyers play at 6 p.m. Friday at Huntington St. Joe in the Catholic Schools Tournament..

The St. Joseph Junior Flyers picked up a pair of wins over the past three days.
On Saturday, the Flyers edged Green 35-32.
Troy Scott scored 14 and Kyle Williams 11 while Chris Lewis got 8 and Cole Willis 2. Ryan had 13 for Green.
St. Joseph rolled past South Gallia on Monday 53-22.
Willis led the Flyers with 16 points and Kyle Williams had 13. Scott and Trey Young scored 6 each, Chris Lewis 5 and Judge Williams 3.
Jr. Panthers, Dragons
split OVC games
CHESAPEAKE — The Chesapeake Panthers 7th grade boys’ basketball team downed the Fairland Dragons 53-24 while the Dragons 8th grade beat the Panthers 36-28 in Ohio Valley Conference games Saturday.
In the 7th grade game, Gage Rhoades and Austin Hutchison scored 12 points each to lead Chesapeake.
In the 8th grade game, Chance Short scored 14 points and Nathan Campbell 11 to pace Fairland.
Aaron Thompson led the Panthers with 18.

Game postponed
Due to an auto accident that delayed traffic on Ohio Route 93, the Oak Hill Lady Oaks were unable to play at Chesapeake Monday.
The game has been rescheduled for Feb. 16.
