HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Opportunity knocked, but the St. Joseph Female Flyers weren’t able to open the door.
The Female Flyers couldn’t capitalize on their scoring opportunities in the paint as they lost 38-25 to Grace Christian on Saturday.
“We just didn’t score. We had opportunities and didn’t put the ball in the basket,” said Female Flyers’ coach Nick Miller.
“They pressed the whole game and we held up pretty well. Sarah Goebel did a pretty good job handling the ball.”
Molly Miller and Sarah Neal scored six points each to pace the Flyers (3-2).
The Female Flyers hosts Sciotoville East at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
