tickets on sale at IHS

Tickets for the Ironton vs. Blanchester boys’ basketball game are on sale in the Ironton High School auto shop office. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the gate.

The game will be played at Ohio University. Ironton’s game will tip-off at 5:45 p.m.

SVLL board election

meeting on Sunday

The Symmes Valley Little League baseball will conduct a meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Symmes Valley High School to elect officers for the upcoming season and discuss rule changes for the new season.

Anyone interested in being a board member, manager or coach is asked to attend.

Elks Hoop Shoot

planned for Dec. 15

The Ironton Elks Lodge No. 177 will conduct its annual Hoop Shoot foul shooting contest Wednesday at the Ironton Sports Center.

Registration begins at 6:30 p.m. and shooting at 7 p.m. Age groups for boys and girls is 8-9, 10-11, and 12-13.

Local winners advance to the district.
