SOUTH POINT — The Lawrence County Sheriff’s office is searching for a man who allegedly robbed a gas station in South Point early Friday morning.

Sheriff’s deputy’s received a call around 4:40 a.m. that the BP gas station at Grandview Avenue in South Point was robbed, Detective Aaron Bollinger said.

The suspect, who was armed with a shotgun, allegedly got away with an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male about 5-foot-9 tall with a medium build. He was disguised, Bollinger said.
