Hilda Faye Clay

SOUTH POINT — Hilda Faye Clay, 77 of South Point, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, Ky.  Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Tri-State Baptist Temple with Pastor Tim Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.

Hilda was born March 10, 1933, in Ironton, a daughter of the late Ruben and Stella Kelley.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. “Jack” Clay, Jr; her siblings, Mary Willis, Dorothy Donley, Dick Kelley and Bob Kelley.

Hilda is survived by two children, Jacque (Jerry) Tyler, and Fred (Irene) Clay, all of South Point; nine grandchildren, Matthew (Deleena) Clay, Michael (Aimee) Clay, Jeremy (Amanda) Clay, Traci (Don) Ball, Shari (Russ) Arbogast, Sheila (Scott) Walter, Samantha Markel, Kelley (David) Hughes, and Misty (Brian) Wood; 18 great grandchildren; and siblings, Mabel Coffman, Rose Crisp and Jim (Carol) Kelley.  Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at Tri-State Baptist Temple, South Point.  Schneider-Griffin Funeral Home, Chesapeake is in charge of arrangements.  Condolences may be expressed at www.schneidergriffin.com.
