Sheriff’s reports
Burglary – 1000 block of County Road 58, South Point, Oct. 26, man alleges his house was burglarized and that tools an air compressor, jewelry and other items were stolen.
Burglary – 4600 Block of State Route 775, Proctorville, Oct. 28, woman alleges her house was burglarized, jewelry, guitar, taken.
Violating a protective order – 800 block of Township Road 191, Kitts Hill, Nov. 1, man alleges he is in the middle of a divorce and has a protective order against wife and that she called his house.
Vandalism – 3400 Block of Co. Road 12, Proctorville, Nov. 5, man alleges someone smashed a pumpkins into mailboxes.
Burglary- 900 block of County Road 15, South Point, Nov. 2, woman alleges her residence was burglarized, pitcher and basket were stolen.
Aggravated burglary – 100 block of Township Road 310, Ironton, Nov. 4, man alleges house was burglarized. Gaming system, fire arms were allegedly taken.
Burglary – 1300 block of County Road 400, Ironton, Nov. 5, woman alleges someone busted a window out in her bedroom and burglarized her home.
Criminal damaging – 500 block of County Road 59, Nov. 6, Chesapeake, man alleges someone smashed in the roof of his 1998 Chrysler vehicle.
Theft – 300 block of Township Road 93 S., South Point, Nov. 7, two men allege that hunting bows were stolen from a truck.
Theft by deception – 8300 block of County Road 1, South Point, woman alleges a box of checks, $250 in cash, drivers lisence and social security card were taken from her residence.
Criminal damaging – 3400 block of County Road 12, Proctorville, Nov. 7, man alleges he watched someone smash a pumpkin into his mailbox. The followed the suspect to a gas station, where the suspect agreed to replace the mailbox. The mailbox was replaced, but the man later came home to find his mailbox pulled out of ground and his satelite dish damaged.
Burglary – 200 block of Private Drive 358, Ironton, Nov. 8, man alleges $1200 was stolen from a cookie jar in his kitchen, later stole $500 and $400 in change from a mason jar in bedroom.
County Jail
Patrick V. Cummings, 31, of 604 W. 23rd St. Huntington, W.Va., warrants for arrest Tuesday by the Ironton Municipal Court.
Michael J. Payne, 20, of 1097 County Road 1, South Point, domestic violence Tuesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Jeffrey L. Buckner, 32, of 503 Vernon St., Ironton, disorderly conduct Monday by the Ironton Police Department.
David B. Kyle, 45, of 46 Private Drive 142, Chesapeake, committment Monday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Clarence M. Botkins, 38, of 114 Private Road 4287, Ironton, warrants for arrest Monday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

Trouble – 3:44 a.m. Sunday 300 block of S. Sixth St., woman says someone is banging on her door, requests an officer. Two taken to sheriff’s office.
Trouble – 700 block of Washington St., 3:53 a.m. Sunday, man claims his son is tearing up the house. Party left prior to police arrival.
Theft – 2:26 p.m. Sunday M&M Inflatables, caller alleges someone stole money from pop machine Information filed for report.
Trouble – 6 p.m. Sunday, man wants it logged that ex-wife violated terms of divorce and custody agreement. Log only.
Trouble – 7:03 p.m. Sunday, cab driver says customer passed out in cab, wants help figuring out who he is and where to take him. Taken to Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
Trouble – 7:19 p.m. Sunday Speedway at State Rt. 141, caller alleges a male is inside bothering staff and other customers. Subject banned from store.
Possible breaking and entering – 600 block of S. Third Street, 8:48 a.m. Monday, caller says she heard footsteps in a building. It was a worker from upstairs doing repairs.
Breaking and entering – 1900 block of First Street, caller says he was broken into over the weekend. Information for report.
Theft – 700 block of Depot Square, 12:56 p.m. Monday, man wants to make a theft report. Information filed.
Vandalism – 3:47 p.m. Monday, 400 block of Pleasant Street, caller says a tire was slashed. Log only.
