Fictitious tags — County Road 450 and County Road 1, Saturday, driver pulled over for expired tags. Syringe allegedly found in car. Kelli R. Laughman, 28, 6118 Margaret St., Ashland, Ky., arrested for fictitious tags and drug abuse instrument.

Drug charges — State Route 52, South Point, Saturday, a call on an alleged domestic violence incident results in the finding of bottles of prescription pills, according to deputies. Charles E. Woodyard, 29, 178 Township Road, Apt. 276 N., South Point, charged with trafficking in drugs. Joseph R. Bradley, 28, 209 Township Road 371, South Point, charged with possession of drugs.

Assault — Township Road 129, Waterloo, Saturday, woman alleges another woman assaulted her, slapped and shoved her.

Domestic violence — County Road 450, South Point, Saturday, man in parking lot allegedly making threats to woman. Damien D. Fox, 25, 59 W. Private Drive 5564, South Point, arrested for domestic violence, assault and resisting arrest.

Criminal damaging — State Route 775, Scottown Sunday, owner reports windows of 1992 Toyota 4 Runner broken by pumpkin.

Petty theft — Private Drive 263, Proctorville Friday, homeowner reports camera taken from house.

Weapons charge — Township Road 1043, Chesapeake Thursday, deputy investigating report of shots fired finds two allegedly under the influence. Man said he had shot at an opossum, had a drug conviction. Bobby J. Gwinn, 29, 181 Township Road 1043, Chesapeake charged with having a weapon under a disability.

Theft — State Route 93, Nov. 1, owner of sign company reports $25,000 in letters, numbers and characters taken from signs.

Felonious assault — County Road 19, Kitts Hill, Sunday, man alleges another had shot at him, then left in truck. Darren M. Sanders, 25, 457 Private Road 1664, Scottown, arrested for felonious assault and carrying concealed weapon.

Burglary — State Route 93, Ironton Wednesday, woman reports house broken into, television taken.

Domestic violence — State Route 650, Sunday, woman reports man approached her with revolver and slapped her face. Dwight Therrien, 47, of 5433 State Route 650, Ironton, arrested and charged with domestic violence.
