Marcella Myrtle Waugh

Marcella Myrtle Waugh, 64, of Ironton, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Lawrence County native was born May 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Clifton and Juanita Wilson Murnahan. She is survived by her husband, James Andrew Waugh, whom she married Dec. 24, 1967.

Mrs. Waugh was a 1965 graduate of Symmes Valley High School. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Jan Waugh.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James C. Waugh and Barbie Kinstler of Ironton; a daughter and son-in-law, Shawannia and Michael Boyajian of Pedro; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Maryline and Cecil Swann of Franklin Furnace, Sellstine Shepard of Lecta and Genevieve Abrams of Ironton; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home with Pastors John Paul Patterson and Mike Dement officiating. Burial will follow in Sugar Creek Cemetery.
