Sheriff’s report

Identity theft – 1100 block of Township Rd. 268, Ironton reported Oct. 15, woman reported that someone allegedly called electric company with her name and social security number, told company she was moving. Also provided an address for the refund check. Suspect named.

Theft — 300 block of Private Dr. 355, Ironton, woman paid approximately $26,000 for a company to install pool, but the company allegedly never installed it. Suspect named.

Aggravated menacing – 3400 block of County Rd. 59, Chesapeake, Oct. 18, woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly came to her home, pounded on the door and window, keeps sending her text messages. Suspect named.

Breaking and entering — 7800 block of County Rd. 107, Proctorville, Wednesday, subjects removed air conditioning unit to gain access to building, ransacked building and took tools.

Theft — 200 block of County Rd. 410, South Point, Oct. 10, woman allegedly concealed items in purse, stole them from Walmart. Amanda Whitley, 26, of 6637 County Road 1, South Point, arrested.

Burglary – State Route 217, Scottown, home burglarized while family was at church. Safe, guns, and documents stolen.

Menacing – Township Road 1443W, South Point, Wednesday, man allegedly threatened to kill woman. Suspect named.

Criminal Simulation – 200 block of County Road 410, South Point, Walmart customer allegedly passed a counterfeit bill.
