Ella Mae Morris Richardson

ASHLAND, Ky. — Mrs. Ella Mae Morris Richardson, 95, went to be with the Lord on Oct. 21, 2010. She was born in Ashland, Ky., on Feb. 11, 1915 to the late Clinton and Pricilla Jones Morris.

She was the wife of the late John Franklin Richardson.

She attended the Tenth Street Tabernacle Church for 65 years. She taught Sunday School and Bible School and was Secretary and treasurer of the Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by one son, Franklin David Richardson; one grandson, Jeffrey David Cox; two brothers Rev. Carl Morris and Bill Morris; and two sisters, Norma York and Mary McCaffrey.

She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Sue and Lawrence MacDonald of Ironton; one granddaughter, Tammi Esquinas; three grandsons: Grey A. Cox, Stephen Cox, and Sam Richardson; four great grandchildren; one sister, Bertha Rue; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Tuesday Oct. 26, 2010 at 1 p.m. at O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home. Pastor John Stevens and Pastor Randy Patrick will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday Oct. 26, at 12 p.m. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
