RIO GRANDE — The Rio Grande annual Athletic Recruiting Day will be held Sunday with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. inside the Lyne Center located in the Newt Oliver Arena on the campus.

Rio Grande is a member of the strong NAIA Division I Mid-South Conference. The RedStorm offers opportunities to play collegiate athletics in women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, baseball, softball, cheerleading and dance team.

Coaches in the various sports will be available to meet prospective student/athletes. Parents and students will take a tour of the campus and obtain information concerning admissions, financial aid, housing and eligibility.

There are currently several former student/athletes from Lawrence County who play on various Rio Grande sports teams.
