Recovered property – 8 mile marker of County Road 1, Chesapeake, wallet found near Chesapeake High School.
Carrying concealed weapons — 11600 block of State Route 243, Chesapeake Friday, student brought butterfly knife, brass knuckles to Collins Career Center. Juvenile student transferred to group home.
Domestic violence — 700 block of Township Road 111 S., Ironton Friday, man allegedly pointed gun at women, threatened them. David J. Jordan, 38, of 706 Township Road 111 S., Ironton, arrested.
Petty theft — 300 block of Private Drive 288, South Point Friday, two subjects allegedly concealed a package of batteries and a CD player and left without paying for them from Walmart. Subjects also purchased an air gun, holster, CO2 cartridges, BBs, CDs two energy drinks and hair coloring. Gene Mullen, 34, of 1812 Seventh Ave., Huntington, W.Va., and Billy Ellis, 1812 Seventh Ave., Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.
Disorderly conduct — 500 block of County Road 12, Chesapeake Saturday, allegedly intoxicated female in roadway, stopping vehicles and telling them to kill her. Jamie L. Qualls, 7714 County Road 1, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.
Juvenile offences — 3400 block of County Road 12, Proctorville, Saturday, 16-year-old girl allegedly left home with man. She returned home later that day. Juvenile suspect transferred to group home.
Assault — Private Drive 257, South Point Saturday, man and woman allegedly arguing and got into a shoving match. Justin Shellton, 19, of 17 Township Road 1403, South Point, arrested.
County Jail
Jack L. Hager, 54, of 158 Township Road 183, Ironton, and intimidation of a public servant, resisting arrest Monday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.
Ironton Police
Dog complaint — 700 block of S. Eighth Street 7:20 a.m. Monday, dog on lot next to caller’s house barking the night before. Caller advised to call back when the dog was barking.
Check wellbeing — 600 block of Lawrence Street, 8:48 a.m. Monday, caller asked officers to check on wellbeing of wife, who has heart condition. Negative contact.
Vagrancy — Ironton Post Office 10:02 a.m. Monday, two people in lobby of post office, advised subjects had left.
