Receiving stolen property — Township Road 87 W. Proctorville, Monday, woman questioned about ownership of vehicle that had been reported stolen. Kristy Lynn Woods, 39, of 4040 Mason St., Milton, W.Va., was charged with receiving stolen property.

Theft — Walmart parking lot Saturday, man reports CD player taken from truck. No suspects named.

Vandalism — Eighth Street and Park Avenue 2:58 a.m. Wednesday, officer reports van had driver’s side window broken.

Breaking and entering — 2000 block of South Seventh Street, 8:51 a.m. Wednesday, man reports home broken into.

Dog complaint — Eighth and Vine streets 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, homeowner reports someone had dropped off two puppies in the alley. Negative contact.

Fight — Second and Pine streets, 3:26 p.m. Wednesday, students fighting on school bus. School officials say they will handle it.

Accident — Taco Bell, 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, employees at Taco Bell report woman has driven into restaurant’s sign.

Trouble — Fourth and Etna streets, 4 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports neighbor is screaming at passers-by. Subject left before arrival of police.

Assault — Fire department 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, man reports he was beaten up in front of fire department.

Noise — 800 North Fifth Street, 10:06 p.m. Wednesday, woman reports others are working with power tools and creating a disturbance. Subjects advised.
