Domestic Violence – 100 block of Township Road 1216, Proctorville, Tuesday, man choked woman, slammed her head against car hood. Christopher Lee Weaver, 24, 107 Township Road 1216 Proctorville, arrested and taken to jail.

Resisting arrest – County Road 144, South Point Tuesday, two men fighting, man tried to strike officer. TJ Foringer, 21, of 57 Township Road 1511, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic Violence – Township Road 124, Chesapeake, Wednesday, man screaming and punching walls, making threats. Robert J. Nichols, 37, of 95 Township Road 124, Chesapeake, arrested.

-TJ Foringer, 21, of 57 Township Road 1511, South Point, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest Tuesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

-Crystal G. Lewis, 28, of 1405 S. Fourth Street, Ironton, aggravated assault Tuesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

-Chad Lewis, 34, 17 Township Road 1403, South Point, warrants for arrest Tuesday by the Proctorville Mayor’s Court.

-Christopher L. Weaver, 24, of 107 Township Road 1216, Proctorville, domestic violence Tuesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s report.

-Tonya Hardy, 22, of 25 Township Road 1067, South Point, burglary Tuesday by the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office.

-Robert Ellis, 45, of 1412 S. Ninth Street, Ironton, warrants for arrest Tuesday by the Ironton Municipal Court.

Police Department

Vandalism – 2500 block of S. Sixth Street 9:03 a.m., Tuesday car damaged during the night.

Unruly child — 10 a.m. Tuesday child didn’t go to school, juvenile taken to Mended Reeds.

Possible burglary — 6 p.m. Tuesday Third Street and Mastin Avenue – two people used a screwdriver to get into house. Subjects had paperwork showing they were hired to clean.

Intoxicated pedestrian — 7:34 p.m. Tuesday, person seen walking on Third between Jab and Eagles, unable to locate.

Dog bite – 8:03 p.m. Tuesday 1800 block of Ora Richey Road, man bit by dog, dog taken to pound.

Child in car – 10:12 p.m. Tuesday, Ninth and Madison Avenue, child locked in car.

Check driver — 11:55 p.m., Tuesday Tenth and McGovney Street, man driving around block repeatedly, almost hitting cars. Driver taken inside for the night.
