The Ironton sewer rehabilitation project will continue this week.

Workers will be relining the sewer in several locations including Orchard Street, Third Street, and Ashtabula Street. Sewer cleaning will take place in various locations.

Workers will also be smoke testing in the South Ironton area.

The Ironton Sewer Rehabilitation Work Schedule for week of September 20, 2010 is as follows:

Manhole Cover Replacement

• Delaware Street

• Third Street alley between Jefferson Street and Madison Street

Sewer Cleaning

• Sewer Cleaning will take place throughout Ironton in various locations.

Sewer Lining

• Orchard Street

• Wyanoke Street between Third Street and Fourth Street

• Third Street between Rose Street and Orchard Street

• Third Street alley between Jefferson Street and Monroe Street

• Fourth Street alley between Wyanoke Street and Ashtabula Street

• Seventh Street alley between Latonia Street and Wyanoke Street

• Ninth Street alley between Wyanoke Street and Ashtabula Street

• Ninth Street alley between Jones Street and Pleasant Street

• 10th Street alley between Ashtabula Street and Lorain Street

• North Ironton near the Wastewater Treatment Plant

Smoke Testing

• Smoke testing will take place in South Ironton from Jones Street to Lorain Street between Fifth Street and 13th Street.
