Vandalism — 2500 block of South Fourth Street, 5:40 p.m. Sunday, children reportedly throwing firecrackers at cars, negative contact.

Assault – 800 block of Railroad Street, 1:07 a.m. Monday, man says he was assaulted at Fuzzy Duck, refused transportation to hospital, goes home in cab.

Vandalism — 500 block of North Fifth Street, 11:28 a.m. Monday, woman reports that tail light is broken.

Vandalism — 1400 block of South Fourth Street, 5 p.m. Monday, woman reports car vandalized.

Indecent exposure — 2700 block of South Sixth Street, 5:03 p.m. Monday, woman reports neighbor urinated in lawn as he left his house.

Vandalism — 500 block of Vesuvius Street, 5:07 p.m. Monday, woman reports car vandalized.

Solicitation — 1500 block of Campbell Street, 9:02 p.m. Monday, door-to-door solicitation for natural gas contracts.

Domestic violence — County Road 42, Athalia Saturday, woman alleges husband hit teen-age daughter in head and arm, Geoffrey Grublesky, 58, of 1141 County Road 42, Athalia, charged with domestic violence and taken to jail.

Domestic violence — State Route 775 Proctorville Saturday, woman alleges husband was intoxicated and hit her. Joshua D. Viars, 26, 1712 State Route 775, Proctorville, charged with domestic violence and taken to jail.

Theft — Private Drive 170, Chesapeake, Saturday, man reports two handguns taken from home, suspect named.

Petty theft — Walmart, South Point, Sunday, woman allegedly takes clothing without paying for it. Christie R. Giammarco, 24, of 96 Private Drive 239, South Point, cited for petty theft.

Domestic violence — Private Road 2313, Proctorville, Monday, woman alleges boyfriend punched and choked her. Jeremy Dray, 21, of 624 County Road 12, Proctorville, charged with domestic violence and taken to jail.

Criminal damaging — Township Road 1220, South Point, Monday, man alleges woman threw brick at truck windshield, breaking it.
