ASHTON, W.Va. — The Green Bobcats had enough acreage to start a farm.

Green rushed just 39 times for 500 yards as they rolled past the Hannan Wildcats 52-0 Saturday.

Tyler Hughes led the Bobcats with 200 yards on nine carries and four touchdowns.

Freshman Kyle Frazier added 121 yards on four attempts and scored twice. Cody Bruce added 91 yards on 10 tries.

Hughes scooted 24 yards for a touchdown and Bruce ran 32 yards for another score as Green took a 14-0 first quarter lead.

Hughes broke free on a 68-yard scoring jaunt early in the second quarter to make it 20-0

Mike Avery scored on a 15-yard run and Keith Stepp added one of his four extra point kicks.

Hughes ended the first half scoring on an 11-yard run with just 24 seconds left on the clock and it was 33-0.

Hughes shook loose on a 79-yard scoring gallop in the third quarter as the lead went to 40-0.

With the backups finishing the game, Frazier scored in the fourth quarter on runs of 39 and 77 yards.

Hannan (0-3) had 175 total yards including 144 on the ground.
