Vandalism — 2500 block of South Sixth Street Wednesday, truck damaged, owner wants more patrols.

Phone Scam — Unknown address, woman reports Wednesday getting a call saying that she won $50,000 in the Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes, but that the IRS wants the taxes up front. PCH will press charges.

Theft — Fourth and Vernon streets Wednesday, woman reports medications stolen, suspect named.

Suspicious Person — 1400 South Seventh Street Wednesday, woman reports two suspicious-acting men in alley, they live in area.

Theft — Township Road 1414, Chesapeake Tuesday man reports front and rear license plates taken. No suspects.

Theft — Walmart, South Point Tuesday, woman allegedly concealed items in a purse, leaving store without paying. Bonnie Sagraves, 43, of Greenup, Ky., charged with theft, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft — County Road 1, South Point Tuesday woman says $103 taken from her purse when she was not at home. No suspects.

Criminal Damaging — County Road 403 Tuesday, Proctorville woman reports her BMW was scratched across the side. No suspects.

Domestic Violence — Township Road 199, Pedro Wednesday, woman alleges son yelled at her, pushed her and blocked her way out of a door. Ryan Albright, 18, of Township Road 199, Pedro, charged with domestic violence-recklessly caused physical harm, arrested and taken to jail.

Petty Theft — Walmart, South Point Wednesday, two women allegedly took items concealed in diaper bags leaving store without paying. Tiffany Marshall 26, of Huntington, W.Va., charged with petty theft and cited to Lawrence County Municipal Court. Amy Blakenship, 23, of 223 Township Road 1186, South Point, charged with petty theft and cited to Lawrence County Municipal Court.

Petty Theft — Walmart, South Point Wednesday, two women allegedly changed price tags on items. Price difference was $28.89. Jeanna Anthony, 40, of Huntington, W.Va., charged with petty theft. Gloria Burcham, 26, of Huntington, W.Va., charged with petty theft and criminal trespassing in a restricted area. Both were cited to Lawrence County Municipal Court.

Domestic Violence — Township Road 1118, Chesapeake, woman alleges husband slapped and pushed her and put a pillow on her face. Ryan Justice, 27, of 60 Township Road 1118, Chesapeake, charged with domestic violence, arrested and taken to jail.
