Forgery — Township Road 1055, Proctorville Monday, checkbook stolen, checks cashed, suspect named.

Domestic — Union Township Thursday, woman reportedly assaulted, choked, cell phone taken and smashed, Chad Crites, 34, 1125 Township Road 1378, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft— Township Road 1416, Proctorville Thursday, aluminum taken from residence, reportedly found at Empire Metal in West Virginia.

Burglary — Township Road 1118, Chesapeake Thursday, flat screen television, four pair of jeans, two shirts taken from residence.

Burglary — County Road 1, South Point Friday, purse taken from vehicle.

Violation of protection order, drug abuse — County Road 26, Ironton Friday, residence entered without permission, people menaced, suspect named, located, 13 small marijuana plants, syringe with residue, two packs of pain patches reportedly found in vehicle, Richard Johnson, 21, 1831 County Road 26, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft— Leo’s Carryout, County Road 1, South Point Friday, woman reportedly causing disturbance, cans of red bull, two bottles of liquor confiscated from woman and her purse, Barbara McCaffrey, 24, 76 Township Road 1336, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft — County Road 107, Proctorville Friday, wallet taken from vehicle.

Theft — Township Road 343, Ironton Sunday, residence entered, front door taken.
