All they had to do was ask and Samantha Lamb and Kayla Swiger gave a positive answer.

Fairland Lady Dragons basketball players Samantha Lamb and Kayla Swiger have been selected to participate in this year’s Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Top 100 Underclassmen Showcase event to be held Saturday at Denison College in Granville.

The Top 100 Showcase is an annual event that invites underclassmen from all over Ohio to participate in a series of drills and games in front of college coaches.

This marks the first time a Lady Dragon player has ever taken part in the event.

Fairland coach Jon Buchanan has been selected as one of the OHSBCA coaches for the showcase.
