Assault — End Zone, 400 block South Second Street Sunday, man reportedly assaulted by 5-6 people.

Theft — Reported at police station Sunday, welfare card taken.

Domestic — Third and Elm streets Sunday, mother and daughter in dispute, daughter left prior to officer’s arrival, later located, Melissa S. Barton, 22, 3276 State Route 141, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Theft — 600 block Hecla Street Sunday, items taken from vehicle.

Domestic — 1300 block South Seventh Street Sunday, man reportedly trying to start fight, left prior to officers’ arrival.

Assault — Ninth and Madison streets Sunday, 16-year-old reportedly assaulted, advised to come with parents and file report at police station.

Felonious assault — Private Drive 99, Chesapeake Friday, people reportedly threatened with kitchen knife, woman punched in chest, suspect fled to other residence, threatened another woman, Kelly Doss, 19, 47 Private Drive 139N, Chesapeake, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Fayette Township Sunday, woman reportedly threatened, property damaged, suspect located, became belligerent with deputies, Billy J. Layman, 41, 330 Township Road 276S, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Rape, domestic violence — Symmes Township Friday, woman reportedly assaulted several times over period of several hours, hair pulled, thrown down, forced to have sex, taken to area hospital and Hope’s Place, Scott E. Lyall Jr., 21, 21912 State Route 141, Waterloo, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Rome Township Friday, man reportedly scratched and slapped, suspect named.

Theft — County Road 1, South Point Friday, satellite dish taken from residence.

Domestic — Washington Township Sunday, man reportedly struck over head with dowel rod, 17-year-old boy taken to group home.

— Virgil D. Waddle, 60, 619 Pike St., Coal Grove, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest Saturday by the Coal Grove Police Department.
