Guilty pleas made in sex cases

A Proctorville woman who had inappropriate relations with a 13-year-old boy will go to prison for three years.
Virginia McCoy, 27, of 86 Private Drive 8700, pleaded guilty to unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Her guilty plea came during a pretrial conference in front of Judge Charles Cooper in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court.
Thomas Kimmle, 61, of 501 Pike St., Coal Grove, pleaded guilty to nine counts of rape and nine counts of sexual battery.
Cooper sentenced him to a total of 10 years in prison and ordered him to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life. His victim was a 29-year-old woman.
Also Wednesday, Leslie C. Wilkes, 36, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated possession of drugs.
Judge D. Scott Bowling sentenced Wilks to four years community control sanctions under intensive supervised probation (CCS/ISP) and fined him $2,500 total.
Paul D. Sisler, 48, of 2065A County Road 22, Ironton, pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs and one year of trafficking in drugs.
Cooper sentenced him to a total of three years in prison and fined him $8,750.
Nicholas McCreery, 23, of Huntington, W.Va., pleaded guilty to three counts of burglary and one count of resisting arrest. Cooper sentenced him to a total of four years in prison.
McCreery was one of two people arrested in November 2009 in connection with a string of burglaries in Rome Township.
Charges are pending against a codefendant, Christy Stone, 29, of 106 Ellis St., Proctorville. She is charged with three counts of complicity to burglary.
Tina Bailey, 36, of Ashland, Ky., pleaded guilty on a bill of information to one count of theft. Bowling sentenced her to 30 days in jail and four years CCS/ISP.
