As the holidays roll to a close, the final music program draws nearer at Briggs Library.

The Ironton High School Jazz Combo will be performing holiday music at the Ironton Branch of the Library at 2 p.m. Monday

Under the leadership of Will Smith, the IHS group will be the second band to play at the library in December. The band will be playing in the downstairs reading section for a half hour. Chairs will be set up for anyone who would like to listen.

“Everyone enjoys the holiday music,” said Lori Shafer, adult services librarian. “It is a rare opportunity to hear live music for free. We are so thankful to the jazz combo and all the groups who participated this year.”
