The inaugural Symmes Valley Christmas Festival sponsored by the Band will feature “Breakfast with Santa,” crafts and vendors, and our “Festival of Trees.”
Breakfast with Santa will be on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be in the high school cafeteria.
For $5, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a plate of fresh pancakes and sausage made by our band parents, with juice, milk, and coffee.
Santa will be there to listen to Christmas wishes and will be available for pictures. Giant inflatables will also be there for the children to play on.
The crafts and vendors will consist of local artisans here to support our music program and help you find that special gift.
Vendors in attendance will include Longaberger baskets, Tupperware, homemade jewelry, caricatures, face painting by band members, and our new line of custom Symmes Valley tree ornaments sold by the Band Boosters.
We hope you will enjoy our Festival of Trees. Ten trees are decorated by local school organizations including FFA, headstart, art department, PTO, yearbook staff, elementary student council, and beginning bands.
Trees will be judged then sold by silent auction. Minimum bids start at $30. Themes include “Ohio State”,”Viking Pride”, “Down on the Farm,” “Nightmare before Christmas”, and many more. Visitors can stop by and admire the trees and place a bid.
The Symmes Valley Christmas Concert featuring the high school band, Seventh grade band, and the high school chorus will be on Sunday, Dec. 13 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The band concert will be the chance to stop by and bid on the trees.
