Explosion reported at Special Metals in Kentucky

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. — Emergency crews are on the scene at the Special Metals Corporation plant near Burnaugh, Ky, in Boyd County, responding to a reported explosion.
The explosion was reported around 3 p.m. Monday.
At this time no information is available as to the cause of the blast or if there were any injuries.
The Huntington plant is the principal production site in the USA, supported by other facilities at Burnaugh, Kentucky and Elkhart, Indiana.
