PEDRO — Linda Lou Aldridge, 61, of Pedro, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Lawrence County native was born Sept. 11, 1948, the daughter of the late Clarence “Bud” and Emma Lane Henry. Her husband, Daniel Aldridge, who passed away Jan. 7, 2005, preceded her in death.
Mrs. Aldridge attended Rock Hill High School, was a homemaker and attended the Forest Ridge Community Church in Waterloo.
In addition to her parents and husband, a sister and brother-in-law, Doris and Calvin Evans, preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Danny Aldridge and Shawn and Michelle Aldridge all of Pedro; two brothers, Larry Henry of Bainbridge, and Bob Henry of Ironton; three grandsons, Danny Aldridge Jr. and Matthew Aldridge both of Pedro and Shawn Steven Tate Aldridge of Oak Hill.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Aldridge Family Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Bradley officiating. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Danny Aldridge Jr., Willard Blankenship, Penrod Jiles, George Mullins, Dale Mullins, and Shane Jiles.
