BEATRICE ROSE

Mrs. Beatrice Dalton Rose, 90, of Ironton, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2009, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
She was born on Sept. 29, 1918 in Coal Grove, the daughter of the late Jack and Bessie Baldwin Dalton. Beatrice was a faithful member of Sharon Baptist Church, and the Eastern Stars.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl E. Rose; five brothers, Charles, Bernard, Gene, Cecil, and Jack Dalton; and a son-in-law, William Moore.
Beatrice is survived by one daughter, Jeanette Moore of Crown City; a son and daughter-in-law, Carl “Bub” and Kay Rose of Somerset, Penn.; a sister, Edna Robbins of Coal Grove; six grandchildren, Christi Anderson, Carla Blankenship, Chana Moore, Mike, Ed, and Jeff Rose; 18 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Harvey officiating. Entombment will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
