HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — Marshall fans know the day, and now they know the time.

Official kickoff times for the Thundering Herd home football games was announced Wednesday and three games will be at 4:30 p.m.

Of the six home games, the final four will be Conference USA teams. The home opener on Sept. 5 is 4:30 p.m. against Southern Illinois and the Sept. 19 game against Bowling Green is the only 7 p.m. kickoff.

Both games in October are at noon when defending champion East Carolina visits in a major East Division showdown on the third. Revenge will be on the Herd’s mind when Alabama-Birmingham comes to Joan C. Edwards Stadium on the 24th.

The Nov. 14 game with Southern Mississippi and the Nov. 21 game against Southern Methodist are both scheduled to kickoff at 4:30.

The East Carolina game will be televised by CBS College Sports national. Additional televised games may be added and kickoff times could also be changed.
