ROSEMARY SITES

SOUTH POINT — Rosemary Sites, 84, of South Point, died Sunday, May 24, 2009, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky. She was born July 2, 1924, in South Point, a daughter of the late Elmer and Sophronia Callicoat Henderson.
She was a retired registered nurse with Dr. Dean Massie’s office for 26 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in South Point.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Leighty; a brother, Earl Henderson; and four sisters, Jean Crank, Sally Newman, Pauline Allard and Mona Toedtman.
Surviving are her husband, John F. Sites whom she married on Nov. 25, 1948; two sons and daughters-in-law, John Frederick and Mary Sites II of Patriot, and Paul James and Mae Sites of South Point; two daughters and sons-in-law, Charla Jean and Fred Hardy of Chesapeake and Kimberly Ann and Rick Kinney of South Point; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Tracy Brammer Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Lane officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1501 Central Ave., Ashland, Ky. 41101.
