Charity Fair begins this evening

For many, Memorial Day weekend would not be quite as much of a celebration without a visit to Charity Fair.
The annual fundraiser for Ironton Catholic Schools begins this evening and continues through 1 p.m. Monday.
This evening is alumni night from 9 p.m. to midnight at the Knights of Columbus. It is open to the public.
Saturday the fair opens on the grounds of St. Joseph High School with all new rides and games. The Perry Township fire safety trailer will be available 1-5 p.m. The music group Sheldon Road will perform at 7 p.m.
On Sunday, breakfast will be served at 10 a.m. Rides and games begin at 1 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be 2-6 p.m. in the St. Joseph Church undercroft. The music group City Heat will perform at 7 p.m.
On Monday, fairgoers will find food booths and a bake sale 9 a.m.-1 p.m. A raffle drawing at 1 p.m. will close out this year’s activities. The raffle includes drawings for $5,000, $2,500 and $1,000. There will also be drawings for 10 $100 prizes. A number of themed baskets will also be raffled.
