KITTS HILL — Donald Lee Waugh, 64, of Kitts Hill, died Tuesday, May 12, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
The Ironton native was born April 12, 1945, the son of the late Willard and Dorothy Massie Waugh. He is survived by his wife, Rachel Jeanette Dickess Waugh.
He was a graduate of Rock Hill High School. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Vietnam Era, was retired as a truck driver with the E.G. Bailey Trucking Company and was of the Protestant faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marilyn Waugh.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald L. Jr. and Rae Waugh of Orrville and Frank A. and Michelle Waugh of Wadsworth; two daughters and sons-in-law, Christi and John Sickles of Rittman and Tonya and Kalman Denning of Orrville; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, Eldon Eugene “Gene” Waugh and David Allen Waugh both of Kitts Hill, and George E. Waugh of Marion; four sisters, Barbara Vance of St. Albans, W.Va., Rita Ann Sprouse of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Paula Kay Peterson of Mt. Gilead and Peggy Meadows of Jacksonville, Fla.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Rock Massie officiating. Burial will follow in Bald Knob Cemetery.
