Rock Hill students earn superior rating

PORTSMOUTH — Seth Miller and Shelby Dalton, fifth-grade students at Rock Hill Elementary, each earned a superior rating at the Shawnee District 14 Science Day March 21 at Shawnee State University.
Shelby was awarded a perfect score and was awarded a first place gold medal in the physical science category for her project “Give it a lift with a lever.”
Seth was awarded the second-place silver medal in the physical science category for his project titled “Trebuchet- The effects of the changing fulcrum.”
The Shawnee District 14 consists of students from Lawrence, Scioto, Adams and Pike counties.
