PERRY TOWNSHIP — A Kitts Hill woman was injured Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on State Route 243 in Perry Township.

Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers said Wendy D. Brown, 30, was eastbound in a 1996 Chevrolet Cavalier when it went off the left side of the pavement, struck a ditch and overturned. She was taken by helicopter to Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va., where was listed in good condition today.

Brown has been charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, failure to control a motor vehicle and not wearing a safety belt.
