WILFORD FRENCH

Wilford Eugene French, 52, of Ironton, died Thursday, Feb. 12, 2009, at his home. He was born Dec. 29, 1956, in Lawrence County, a son of the late Wilford Daniel and Louise Hutchinson French.
He was a self-employed mechanic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Betty Miller, and a brother, Willard French.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy Gamble French; a daughter, Deborah Louise French at home; three stepchildren, Daniel Fraley and Della Fraley, both of Durham, N.C., and Darlene Patterson of Spring Hope, N.C.; two brothers, Kenneth French of Ironton and Rick French of Texas; and two sisters, Delores Pernestti and Stella Clark, both of Ironton.
Graveside service will be at 1:15 p.m. today at Lawrence Furnace Cemetery with Brother Willard Blankenship officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Lazear Funeral Home, Ashland, Ky.
