CLARENCE LACY

COLUMBUS — Clarence Lacy, 93, of Columbus, formerly of Ironton, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, at Mt. Carmel Medical Center.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from CSX Railroad. He was a member of the Russell, Ky., YMCA, the International Association of Machinists, Westgate Lodge 623, F&AM, Scottish Rite and the Aladdin Shrine.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Irene Runyan; his brothers, Clifford and Clyde Lacy and sister, Thelma Drain, all of Ironton.
He is survived by wife of 11 years, Zura Brammer Lacy; his children, Sandra Joan Borghese Santacruz, Donald R. Lacy and Susan Schafer; seven grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Beulah Lacy. Services were Jan. 15 at Highland Baptist Church in Columbus.
