The Lawrence County Democratic Party will host a “Get Out Your Vote Campaign” at noon on Saturday at the Lawrence County Democratic Headquarters, located 315 Fourth St., in Ironton across from the Briggs Library. The Democratic Party will be canvassing the whole county during the next three weeks.

“We are asking for everyone to come in on Saturday to meet our Democratic candidates and office holders. We will also have Congressman Charlie Wilson joining us in our kick off campaign, and he will be one of many candidates speaking that day. We are asking for volunteers to help with the canvassing or phone banking. We have 18 days until election day so every minute counts,” said Craig Allen, chairman of the Lawrence County Democratic Party.
