Author Wanda Willis will have a book signing 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday at the Briggs Lawrence County Public Library main branch.

Willis will sign copies of her book “The Beveled Mirror, Reflections Of An Appalachian Family.”

Willis, of Gallia County, has family and friends in Lawrence County. Her parents and older siblings once lived on Greasy Ridge. The book describes her difficult upbringing that was marked by poverty and yet also inspired by a deep faith in God and reliance on each other. It also describes her education, how she met her husband and their life together.

Willis is a retired educator, businesswoman and drug prevention coordinator in Gallia County.
