Kevin and Jami Damron, of Scottown, announce the birth of a son, Javin Lee.

He was born Jan. 8, 2008, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. He weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 22 inches long.

His grandparents are Russell and Fran Smith of Pedro, Rachel and Joel Thacker of Louisa, Ky., and Dennis Damron of Fort Gay, W.Va. He is the great grandson of Alma Ellcessor of Scottown.

He was welcomed home by big sisters Franchesca Hope and Payton Marie Hunter.
