TSJGC begins 25th season Friday

The greens and fairways of the Tri-State Junior Golf Circuit are celebrating their silver anniversary this season when the series of youth golf tournaments tee off Friday.
The TSJGC will celebrate its 25th anniversary with seven tournaments that culminate Friday, July 27, at the Guyan Golf and Country Club.
Friday’s tournament will be at Riveria Golf Course in Lesage, W.Va. The second tournament will have special Thursday date on June 14 at Esquire Golf Course in Barboursville, W.Va.
After a week off, the circuit returns on a Tuesday, June 26, at Sugarwood Golf Course in Lavalette, W.Va.
The next four tournaments are all on Fridays: July 6 at Twin Silos at Lavalette, July 13 at Bellefonte Golf and Country Club in Ashland, Ky., and July 20 at Shawnee State Park Golf Course in West Portsmouth.
Age divisions are 10-12 (they play 9 holes), 13-15 and 16-18. Entry fees are $28 for ages 10-12 ($32 at Guyan) and $34 for the other age divisions ($39 at Guyan).
Checks should be made payable to T-SJGC. Entry deadline is 3 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the tournament except June 12 which had a Saturday, June 23, deadline.
Refunds for cancellations must be made 24 hours before each event.
A “Player of the Year” award will be given in each age divisions at the end of the season’s banquet. Winners are based on a point system.
