COAL GROVE — Good starts can lead to good things.

In the case of the Coal Grove Lady Hornets, a good start led to a good win as they rolled past the New Boston Lady Tigers 78-53 Saturday in a non-conference game.

“We played pretty well the first half and got off to a good start. We tried to play a lot of people the second half and that made it hard to maintain our intensity,” Lady Hornets coach Nick Miller said.
