CROWN CITY — It was ugly on the field, but pretty on the scoreboard.

The St. Joseph Flyers were guilty of seven errors, but they smacked 19 hits and cruised to a 25-13 win over the South Gallia Rebels Wednesday.

“It was an ugly win. We made a lot of errors, but we were hitting the ball well and scoring a lot of runs. Our pitching wasn’t that bad, we just didn’t play defense,” Flyers coach Greg Bryant said.
