IRONTON - What could Ironton's educational future look like if voters approve a tax levy at the polls?

The Citizens Committee for the Ironton City Schools hopes to provide a possible answer Saturday. The group will sponsor a bus trip so that the community can see Portsmouth's new schools.

The trip will be immediately following the 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 8 open house at Ironton High School. The bus is expected to return by 4 p.m.

The group wants people to see what new facilities would be like if voters support a bond levy on the November ballot.

To reserve a seat, contact the Ironton Board of Education at (740) 532-4133.
