ASHLAND, Ohio

(AP) - Jamie Perkins pitched a complete game and hit a two-run double, leading Convoy Crestview to a 6-1 win over New Bremen in a Division IV state softball semifinal Thursday.

Perkins (22-0) allowed only two hits and a walk while striking out 12 over seven innings. Her double drove in Alisha Etzler and Heather Simindinger to give the Knights (28-0) a 3-1 lead in the third.

Ashley Holden, who collected two hits for Crestview, had an RBI single and scored in the Knights' three-run fourth.

New Bremen (20-8) committed one error in the third and three in the fourth, leading to five unearned runs. Cardinals starter Marie Staten (9-6) was charged with one earned runs on six hits in six innings.
