LATHAM - The Green Lady Bobcats aren't ones to look a gift horse in the mouth.
The Bobcats combined six hits and two walks with eight Western errors to post a 10-0 win over the Lady Indians Monday in a Southern Ohio Conference game.
"We had good contact on the ball that allowed us to score," said Green coach Jessica McIlhenney.
"We're real pleased with the girls. We knew we had a good team, but we weren't real sure about the experience. We have a lot of freshmen playing."
Erin Hall went the distance to get the win. She struck out five, walked two and scattered six hits.
Shay Richendollar went 2-for-5 with a double to lead the Green offense.
Green, 7-1 and 5-1 in the SOC, hosts Portsmouth Notre Dame Wednesday.
