Junior Flyers claim two tournaments

The St. Joseph Junior Flyers did double duty and came out a winner both times.
The Junior Flyers won two tournaments in the same day as they beat Sciotoville East 64-42 in the finals of the Oak Hill Middle Tournament, then traveled to Huntington, W.Va., and beat Huntington St. Joseph 45-42 to claim their third straight Tri-State Catholic Schools Tournament title.
The Flyers beat East as Chad Harvey scored 22 points and Caleb Blackburn had 21 points.
In the Catholic Schools Tournament championship game, Harvey and Blackburn scored 14 points each and George McCown added 11 points.
The Junior Flyers finished the season 11-4 after losing their first three games by a combined total of 8 points.
