COAL GROVE - For the fourth time this season, rain took the checkered flag the entire night at Rocky Top Raceway.

As soon as the first late model - Brandon Queen - went out to the hot laps, the rain came pouring down.

The rain continued for about 15 minutes but, as soon as it stopped, Gary Sherman and his crew were quick to start the drying process.

The drying process was about halfway complete and then another heavy rain came forcing officials to cancel the night's races.

A regular schedule will be held Friday that includes late models with $1,200 to win, modifieds with $800 to win, limited late models with $500 to win, and bombers with $400 to win.
