It started three years ago as an outlet for local music talent. It continues with its 2006 edition.
ZoneFest will be June 16-17 at the EndZone.
211 Adams Street in Ironton. It will feature several new rock, classic rock and country bands from throughout the Tri-State and other areas of Ohio.
Organizer Rob Brumfield said he expects the two-day event will draw crowds of several hundred people.
“It fluctuates. We grow every year, but we usually have 500-600 people each night,” Brumfield said. “I would say we will probably have about 1,000 overall.”
The EndZone will sell food and drinks during the two-day event.
Ironton-based bands Nite Shift and Diesel Pete are included in the lineup.
Pre-sale tickets are going to be for sale in less than two weeks at the EndZone and from the bands involved. Pre-sale tickets are $4 and gate charge is $6. Gates open at 5 p.m. both days.
“We just really like seeing something going in town,” Brumfield said. “We want people to come out, have a good time.”
