Harmon’s one-hitter blanks Green

FRANKLIN FURNACE - Lori Harmon pitched a one-hitter as the Symmes Valley Lady Vikings blanked the Green Lady Bobcats 10-0 Monday in the Southern Ohio Conference game.
Harmon struck out 14 and did not walk a batter as the Lady Vikings improved to 9-2 overall and lead the SOC at 7-0.
Erin Hall had a leadoff single in the fifth inning for the only Green hit.
Symmes Valley scored twice in the first inning and three in the fifth to lead 5-0. They put the game out of reach with five runs in the sixth.
Kayla Bowman had two-run double in the sixth inning to highlight the rally. Harmon aided her own cause with a two-run single.
