Ashland, Ky., police arrest 4 Ohioans on drug charges

ASHLAND, Ky.- Four Columbus residents are behind bars in Boyd County, Ky., today after Ashland police arrested them on drug-related charges.
Tyrone Michie, 22,
was charged with operating a motor vehicle on a suspended driver's license, possession of a suspended driver's license, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in a controlled substance.
Victoria L. Howard, 33, is charged with trafficking in controlled substances, two counts of possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Valerie K. Castle, 20
was charged with trafficking in controlled substances, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kendall Lovejoy, 33, was charged with trafficking in controlled substances. All were lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center in Catlettsburg.
The arrests were the result of a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Winchester Avenue Tuesday. While searching the car, officer Tim Renfroe allegedly found baggies containing cocaine, marijuana and different kinds of prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and an unspecified amount of cash.
